This is a very fast paced fantasy thriller that can be read out of order. I'm that person who needs to read all series in order. Luke Romyn is one of my favorite authors and while I love doing reviews, all I can say is that you should read The Last Hunter series so you can fall in love with the dragons and the magic of this fantasy world. You'll fall in love with Theo and his friends.

This book is another unput-downable read. Grabs ahold of and won’t let go until the end. Where will Theo and his friends end up next? I wish I knew but I have to wait for book 3 to find out.

While this series and this book is great for young adults it's fascinating for adults too. Young Theo with his band of merry of friends and with the help of a dragon has to figure out if he's strong enough to beat the Orc King. While doing this there's a mysterious person who keeps popping in and out of Theo's life and Theo has to figure out who he is and what it wants. It's so easy to fall in love with the characters in this book. There's a couple I want as my best friends. I love this series and this second book is even better than the first. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Having read 'The Last Hunter', the first book of this series, I had no hesitation in delving into 'The Storm Riders', a wise decision on my part.

The tale flowed right through from the first book and I was surprised at how easily I remembered the characters as they reappeared. As to be expected with Romyn, the writing is solid, the imagination intense, and the story is intricately weaved from start to finish.

Highly recommended!
